Winglock has just taken over my mind, and I’m not entirely sure why because I’ve always thought “meh” about characters with wings in other fandoms, but it just seems so gorgeous and well thought out in AU form in Sherlock.

At last, I have finished it! 8’D Fanart for the-mamishka’s incredible fanfic Fallen. Seriously, I have so many feeling for this series, you should definitely check it out! :D If you have no idea what it’s about, hee goes the summary:

Sherlock is not just a Consulting Detective but also an Adept in a world filled (unbeknownst to most humans) with supernatural beings. Unbeknownst to Sherlock, John is his Guardian Angel.

So yeah, basically an excuse for me to draw wings. And I have a thing for Winglock, so shoot me. X) I might be reusing this to make a book cover. :3

Seriously, Cyril and I have been roleplaying Winglock on Skype since yesterday although my writing skills are crap, and now I’m at the point of considering creating a sideblog dedicated exclusively to Winglock yay/nay?

Anyway, this is kind of a warm up sketch; still trying to figure out what kind of wings to give Sherlock, and I kind of like the idea of him having this plumage that runs along his spine dfjghfdgkjhdg

Also, I’m come to the conclusion that I’ve been using my tablet with the wrong configuration for the last four years. I’ve always had it on pen mode, but it turns out it’s much easier to use it on mouse mode, and my lines come out so much crispier dkfjhgdslf kill me noooow ffff-
